So tonight I had an appointment to get another needle in my spine at Brigham and women's hospital. I drove to Jamaica Plain to the pain management center and I told the doctor how well I've been doing. I mentioned that the last 4 weeks my back has been feeling fine. I told him Wednesday I had a training session at the gym and after that I hiked in a state park for an hour and a half on hilly land and the doctor was sort of not sure at first....but he eventually recommended that I don't get an injection and that I just keep up with my fitness routine to see if I continue to progress. He said if it gets worse let them know, but if I can lift what I'm lifting at the gym and can climb small hills with no pain for 1.5 hours, then I should hold off on injections. It makes me feel like I'm finally turning the corner towards being back to normal again! :) On top of that, I'm down a pants size since the beginning of the year, my belts don't fit, and I'm down a shirt size too!
